Hot-Box Process
Hot-Box is a core production method where sand mixed with a thermosetting resin is injected into a heated core box, causing it to cure rapidly due to the high temperature. This process results in strong and gas-tight cores ideal for high-quality castings.
Our Hot-Box core machines feature temperature-controlled tooling, both horizontal and vertical opening mechanisms, and offer modular construction in various sizes.
